摘要

Objective: Causes and risk factors of neurodevelopmental disorders originatein the prenatal and perinatal periods. Several studies have demonstrated a relationshipbetween prenatal and perinatal medical records, including maternal and paternal age atpregnancy, and the neurodevelopmental disorders, especially attentiondeficit/hyperactivity disorder and autism spectrum disorder. However, previous studiesshowed an association between specific learning disorders and environmental toxins such aslead and tobacco smoke, but not parental age.
