Few-layer graphene induces both primary and secondary genotoxicity in epithelial barrier models in vitro

Cytotoxicity, evaluated through RPD and chromosomal damage assessment of TT1 cells utilising the in vitro CBMN assay following exposures to ENMs a neutral-, b amine-, c carboxyl-FLG and d CB particles. Results were considered significant (*) when p < 0.05. MMC (0.01 µg/ml) demonstrated a 6.2% Mn/BN frequency. Data is presented as the average value ± the standard deviation (SD), (N = 3)
