Three-dimensional (3D) speckle-tracking with TomTec 4D Echo Software (TomTec Imaging Systems, Image Arena, Unterschleissheim, Germany). Standard three apical views and one short-axis view of the left ventricle (LV) were automatically extracted from the 3D full-volume data sets. The 3D endocardial surface was automatically reconstructed at LV end-diastole (LVED) ( ) and LV end-systole (LVSD) ( ). The software provided global longitudinal strain (GLS) ( ), global radial strain (GRS) ( ), global circumferential strain (GCS) ( ), and global principal tangential strain (GPTS) ( ) time curves in 16 segments as well as peak global strain and averaged peak strain at three LV levels (basal, mid, and apical)
