Timeline of the focused ultrasound (FUS) experiment for the analysis of AChE activity and BDNF expression 24 h after sonication (control,  = 4; 192 IgG-saporin [SAP],  = 4; SAP+FUS,  = 4). BrdU and doublecortin (DCX) 5 days after sonication (control,  = 4; SAP,  = 4; SAP+FUS,  = 4). AChE, BDNF, BrdU/NeuN, and BrdU/GFAP 18 days after sonication (control,  = 8; SAP,  = 8; SAP+FUS,  = 8).
