BackgroundWhile depression has been linked with asthma in numerous studies, its relationship with asthma exacerbations, including emergency room (ER) visits and oral steroid (OS) use has not been well documented. The main aim is to investigate whether comorbid depression increases exacerbations among patients with asthma.
