BackgroundCarcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) as one of the most widely used tumor marker is used in the clinical diagnosis of colorectal, pancreatic, gastric, and cervical carcinomas. We developed an aptamer-based microchip electrophoresis assay technique for assaying CEA in human serum for cancer diagnosis.
