Tianma Gouteng decoction for essential hypertension

Background:Essential hypertension is one of the most common chronic diseases, as well as one of the leading risk factors for cardio-cerebrovascular diseases. Tianma Gouteng decoction has been commonly used in clinical practice for patients with essential hypertension. It is important to update the search and evaluation to provide the best available evidence for essential hypertension. Here, we provide a protocol to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Tianma Gouteng decoction (TGD) for essential hypertension.
