ObjectivesA recent moderately long-term study found an antipsychotic to be more effective than an antidepressant as the next-step treatment of unresponsive major depressive disorder (MDD). It is thus timely to examine recent trends the pharmaco-epidemiology of antipsychotic treatment of MDD.
