BackgroundLiver stiffness measurement (LSM) using transient elastography (FibroScan^®) reflects the degree of hepatic fibrosis. This prospective study investigated how well LSM predicts the development of hepatic insufficiency after curative liver resection surgery for hepatocellular carcinoma.
