Measurement equivalence of the English Chinese and Malay versions of the World Health Organization quality of life (WHOQOL-BREF) questionnaires

BackgroundThe WHOQOL-BREF is a widely used questionnaire for measuring quality of life. It is important to establish the measurement equivalence of various language versions of WHOQOL-BREF so that scores from different language versions may be pooled together. The primary aim of this article was to evaluate the measurement equivalence of the English, Chinese and Malay versions of the WHOQOL-BREF.
