摘要

This paper illustrates the development of a departmental microcomputer based system. The approach taken is to distill requirements from the users, and to determine those tasks that belong on the computer and those that should be done manually. It also takes into account the realities of system design and implementation in a hospital environment where both personnel and financial resources are scarce. Operating under these conditions provides for a system that gives users the critical items they need to perform their jobs, while making use of existing resources.
