Purpose:Background–: Indukantham Gritham is a formulation referred in the text of Sahasrayogam in the context of Gritha yogam. This formulation is also used in the water extract mode for treatment purpose. Indukantham combination is a potent formulation which enhances immunity with special indication in respiratory disorders and recurring fevers. Antioxidants play a significant role in improving the immunity and thereby in combating these conditions. Phenolic compounds are the most common water soluble antioxidant compounds found in plants. Objective–: The objective of the present work is to provide a comparison on the phytoconstituents, total phenolic content percentage and antioxidant properties of.
