BackgroundReducing the burden of malaria highly depends on access to prompt and effective malaria diagnosis and treatment. The aim of this study was to identify challenges affecting prompt access to effective uncomplicated malaria case management in children below 10 years old in rural primary health care facilities in Malawi.
