BackgroundIn the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries epidemiology of Bronchial Asthma (BA) is poorly characterized. The objective of this analysis is to present the prevalence, burden and risk factors associated with BA in the CIS countries as part of the CORE study (Chronic Obstructive REspiratory diseases).
