Association of dental and periodontal disease with chronic kidney disease in patients of a single tertiary care centre in Thailand

BackgroundSeveral studies have shown an association between oral diseases and chronic kidney disease (CKD), and regular oral care may be an important strategy for reducing the burden of CKD. The objective of this study was therefore to evaluate the association between dental and periodontal diseases in Thai patients with various stages of CKD.
