ObjectiveStudies have suggested that pre-emptive analgesia may decrease postoperative pain and opioid consumption. This study was undertaken to determine whether pre-emptive analgesia reduces postoperative pain and total paracetamol and opioid consumption in children undergoing herniorrhaphy.
