PURPOSEThis study was performed to assess the safety, efficacy, and clinical outcomes of transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) creation for treatment of medically refractory as-cites and to identify prognostic factors for clinical response, morbidity, and mortality.
