Telomerase activity P53 mutation and Ki-ras codon 12 point mutation of the peripheral blood in patients with hepato pancreato biliary diseases

BackgroundWith progress in molecular biology, the presence of telomerase activity, P53 mutation and Ki-ras codon 12 point mutation has been reported in malignant tumours of the liver, pancreas and biliary tree. The purpose of this paper is to clarify the clinical implications of finding these three biomarkers in the peripheral blood of affected patients.
