前降钙素在脊髓造影后症状严重的无菌性化学性脑膜炎中的作用

cqvip:Symptomatic aseptic, chemical meningitis is a rare complication of myelography . Its acute clinical course and standard laboratory findings are indistinguishab le from those of bacterial meningitis. The authors present a case of severe post myelographic chemical meningitis and compare CSF and serum inflammatory markers to a group of seven patients with proven bacterial meningitis. As in viral menin gitis, procalcitonin might be able to discriminate between bacterial and chemica l causes of CNS inflammation.
