Recently, two types of children’s shoes exported from China to Czech Republic were notified in succession to be withdrawn from market due to the presence of dimethylfumarate (DMF) in concentration greater than 0.1 mg/kg. The two cases reflect that the abuse of dimethylfumarate, as anti-mould agents, still exist in leather and footwear industry. The physicochemical properties of dimethylfumarate and its health hazard to human are introduced. EU recall cases on dimethylfumarate in recent years, as well as related laws and regulations from various countries are summarized in this paper. The selection of anti-mould solution and the alternatives to dimethylfumarate for leather and footwear industry are pointed out in this paper.%近期,两款产自中国出口到捷克的童鞋又接连因富马酸二甲酯超标而遭欧盟通报,可见皮革鞋类行业富马酸二甲酯滥用问题还屡禁不止。本文从富马酸二甲酯的理化性能和健康危害着手,归纳总结了近年来富马酸二甲酯的召回案例和各国相关法律法规要求,指出了皮革鞋类行业应积极探索,寻找安全、广谱高效、符合环保要求的可替代方案。
