视频序列的运动估计技术综述

摘要

基于图像块匹配的运动估计算法由于计算相对简便,被许多视频编码标准所采纳,并结合变换域进行运动估计,以及在亚像素精度、搜索策略方面不断改进.首先简要介绍了运动估计技术的基本原理和应用领域；然后详尽阐述了运动估计的各种主要算法的研究进展；最后,经过对当前工作的总结和分析,并对今后研究方向和挑战进行了预测.%Because of the calculation simplicity, image block motion estimation algorithm, which combines with the ongoing improvement of transform domain motion estimation, sub -pixel precision and the searching strategy, is adopted by many video coding standards. Firstly, the basic principles of motion estimation and its applications are introduced, and then the researches of motion estimation algorithms are elaborated on. Finally, after a summary of current works, the future research directions and challenges are pointed out.
