Through the numerical simulation and experiment, the flow velocity field, pressure field and gas flow distribution in the manifold catalytic converter were analyzed and compared with those in the conventional catalyst converter under chassis. The results show that, with the increase of inlet flow, the flow velocity and pressure loss in the manifold catalyst converter increase and the uniformity of flow radial distribution decreases. Different from the axial symmetry distribution of conventional catalyst converter, the flow radial distribution of manifold catalyst converter is more dispersive in front face of carrier. For the tube-plate manifold catalyst converter, the flow shows multi-point entering state and the internal flow uniformity improves greatly.%通过数值模拟和试验验证,分析了歧管式催化器内部气流的速度场、压力场和气流分布状态,并与常规的底盘下催化器进行了比较.结果表明:随入口流量的增大,歧管式催化器内部气流流速增大、压力损失增大、径向分布均匀性降低;气流的径向分布不同于常规催化器集中于轴线的轴对称形式,而是在载体前端面呈比较分散的状态,其中管板复合型歧管式催化器呈现多中心进气状态,均匀性较常规催化器有较大提高.
