“工程光学”是光信息科学与技术专业一门工程性、技术性和实践性都很强的专业课程。本文分析了三峡大学理学院“工程光学”课程教学过程中所出现的问题,提出了课程的优化和教学方式的转变与虚拟实践教学,加强学生的实践能力和科学思维的培养,提高学生的动手能力。%Engineering optics, which has strongly technology and practice, is a major curriculum for optical information science and technology. In this paper, the problems arising during the teaching process of engineering optics in college of science in CTGU are analyzed. We discuss the optimization of the contents and the transformation of teaching method. Furthermore, we propose the methods for virtual practical education, which require students to take into practice to improve their ability of practical and also to train their scientific thinking.
