A promoted BPSO (binary particle swarm optimization) algorithm for fault location in subway power system is introduced. This optimal solution through combining the cross - operation with retain - operation is able to overcome the shortcomings of local convergence by the traditional algorithms, and accelerate the convergence rate accordingly. Both the single supply power system and the AC - DC Hybrid power system adopted in subway are simulated. The simulation results indicate that the proposed BPSO algorithm is practical in locating the faults in subway power system, with high calculation speed, good convergence and high fault - tolerance.%提出了一种结合了交叉操作和保留最优解操作的改进二进制粒子群算法,并将其用于轨道交通电网故障定位中.改进后的算法较好地改善了传统粒子群算法易于局部收敛的缺点,并且加快了算法的收敛速度,在城市轨道交通供电系统发生故障时能迅速准确地判断出故障区段.还对轨道交通单端供电系统和多端供电系统故障分别进行了仿真计算,验证了该算法在轨道交通电网故障定位中的可行性,并且验证了算法具有计算速度快、收敛性好和容错性高的特点.
