一种新型限流式高压直流断路器拓扑

     

摘要

Firstly,the various existing circuit breakers are compared,and on this basis,a new topology for current-limiting HVDC circuit breaker is proposed in this paper.Insulation gate bipolar transistor(IGBT) is used in this topology as main power switching devices.This topology has two operating modes:fault current limiting and circuit breaking.The topology has the advantages of lower power loss,large quantities of turning off current,and high voltage level.The branches of this topology has the features of modularity,which can be flexibly configured to regulate the working current and current limiting effect.Therefore,the directly parallel connection of the IGBTs can be avoided or reduced.Finally,the topology is modeled in PSCAD/EMTDC,the simulation results show that the topology has good fault current limiting and circuit breaking performance.Compared with existing scheme,the peak current and its rising-rate are reduced.The results show the reliability of the novel theory and feasibility of proposed topology.%首先简要回顾了直流断路器的国内外研究现状及优缺点,在此基础上提出了一种带有限流功能的高压直流断路器拓扑.该拓扑采用绝缘栅双极晶体管(IGBT)作为主开关器件,具有断路、限流等功能,并具有通态损耗小、关断电流大、电压等级高的优点;可灵活配置支路数量以调节每个支路的工作电流及故障下的限流效果,进而避免或减少大容量场合下IGBT的直接并联.PSCAD/EMTDC环境下的仿真结果表明该断路器具有良好的限流、断路性能,故障电流上升率及峰值相比于现有方案得以明显降低,验证了理论分析的正确性和方案的可行性.
