新空巢家庭作为一种社会现象已经在我国普遍出现。新空巢家庭是在社会发展变迁的过程中形成并受多重因素影响，可视为一种动态的家庭状态，不能统一、具体的界定，应以发展的眼光去看待。它没有地域界限，具有可变性和长期性特征。以“优势视角”去看待这种现象，发掘其隐藏的能量和资源，重新界定可能出现的问题，将优势运用于适应性行动，以社会工作为媒介，提出从微观和宏观两个层面去做出改变，促使和改善其社会功能的发挥。%The New Empty-nest Family as a social phenomenon has universally appeared in our country which is formed during the process of social development .It is affected by multiple factors and considered as a dynamic family status which can not be a unified and specific definition . We should take it in a perspective of development. It has variability and long-term without geographical boundary. This paper advocates to meet this phenomenon with“Strengths Perspective ", finding the hidden energy and resources, redefining the problems that may arise and applying the advantages to the adaptive actions. Social work, as a media, aims to make a change to promote and improve its social function from the micro and macro levels.
