How do teachers continue to learn and grow? Understanding teacher development

     

摘要

@@ A concern for self-sustaining, generative change shifts the focus of teacher development from the factors that initiate change to factors that enable teachers to continue to learn and grow. If we believe that teachers develop and cannot be developed, then it is necessary to understand not only whether a professional development programme promotes principles of 'practical inquiry', but also how the participants make meaning of the principles and translate them into practice.
