Stem cells are defined as cells that have the ability to self renew and differentiate themselves, so they rep-resent a great potential in the medical profession. Historically, stem cells have been divided into embryonic stem cells (ESC) and adult stem cells (ASC). Previously only that embryonic stem cells can maintain the ability to differentiate in-to any cell type, but only ASC has certain ability of embryonic cells. Recently, however, a large number of studies show that adult stem cells have the ability beyond its histogenesis.
