昆明犬不同采精年龄对精液品质的影响

如何提高现代警犬的繁殖能力是目前亟待解决的一个重要科学难题,其中起关键作用的一个限制因素是公犬精液质量差.在其他家畜的研究中发现,采精年龄对精液各方面品质均有较大影响,但相似研究在犬中还未见报道.本文以昆明犬为试验材料,研究了2～4岁、4～6岁、6～8岁、大于8岁4个年龄段对精液品质的影响.结果发现,不同采精年龄除对精液pH值无显著影响外,对采精量、精于活率、精子活力和精子密度4个精液质量指标均有显著影响(P＜0.01).多重比较结果认为,公犬的最佳繁殖性能出现在4～6岁阶段,因此生产实践中可对该年龄阶段的个体重点利用.%The improvement of reproduction ability of modem dog was largely hindered by the low-quality of semen. Although many reports in farm animals showed that the age could aignificantly affect the semen quality . the corresponding atudies have not been conducted by far, to our knowledge. In this atudy, we imrestigated the affection of four age groups (2 - 4 years, 4 - 6 years, 6 - 8 years, and ＞ 8 years) on the semen quality in Kunming dog. We found that different ages have significant effect on the ejaculate volume, sperm viability, sperm motility, and sperm concentration. In contrast , the semen pH value did not differ among different groups. The highest performance of semen quality appeared in the group of 4 - 6 years.
