Semen collecting and insemination device

A semen collecting and insemination device comprises an upper container detachable attached to a lower syringe-like barrel having a having a hole in the lower end of the barrel which is covered by a removable button. The bore of the upper container is larger than that of the bore of the syringe. Semen collected in the upper container falls into the lower syringe, the container is then removed and a plunger inserted into the syringe, the button is then removed and the semen used in an artificial insemination procedure. The device may be gamma irradiated and tinted and the three parts may be individually, sterilely, wrapped.
