In order to study the effects of organic silicon on the grass seedling morphology and physiological characters of blue-grass, Kentucky bluegrass ( Poa pratensis cv. 'Midnight' ) varieties was selected as tested materials, and seven organic sil-icone fertilizer gradient (0, 1, 2, 2. 5, 3, 4, 5 mmol?L-1 ) was set up. The results showed that adding a certain concen-tration of silicone increased the grass seedling length, seedling dry weight, root length, root dry weight, total length of roots, total surface areas of roots and fibrous root number, and the application of silicon 2. 5 mmol?L-1 had the best performance, which were significantly higher than those of the control (P<0. 05). Spraying silicone reduced leaf cell electrolyte leakage, and improved grassland bluegrass resistance. Spraying different concentrations of silicone significantly improved the silicon con-tent in the upper part of Poa pratensis L. , which 3. 0 mmol?L-1 had the best effect.
