构建社会主义和谐社会是中国特色社会主义事业的一项重大任务，民主法治是和谐社会的必备要素，而民主法治是政治文明建设的核心。缺乏政治文明，真正的社会和谐无法实现。不断探索发展具有中国特色的社会主义政治文明，是我国社会发展的迫切要求。文章结合当前时代特点，从坚持党的领导、人民当家作主、依法治国等角度对政治文明建设做了粗浅思考。%To build a harmonious socialist society is a major task in the cause of building socialism with Chinese characteristics, in which democracy and the rule of law are the essential elements and the core in the building of political civilization as well. Without political civilization, social harmony in a real sense cannot be achieved. Therefore, it is the urgent requirement of our country and a test of our Party＇s wisdom and courage as well to develop political civilization with Chinese characteristics. Taking the trend and features of the times into consideration, the author of this paper makes an analysis on the building of political civilization from such perspectives as upholding the party＇ leadership, letting the people be real masters and implementing the rule of law, so as to arouse more academic thinking about it.
