In the present study, the floating structure is treated as a rectangular flat plate by use of finite elements, and boundary elements are used in the formulation of the sea region. The equation of motion, in which the interaction between structure and fluid is taken into account, is solved by the wet mode-superposition method. To validate the proposed method above, a comparison is taken between the theoretical and the experimental data. They are basically in agreement.%对箱型超大型浮体的波激振动响应作了理论背景的介绍。根据结构特点与响应特征,用弹性薄板理论简化结构,用边界元法计算流体动力,并用模态综合法计算波激振动响应。在计算中考虑了弹性振动模态与流场的相互作用。对超大型浮体模型试验的数值模拟证明了理论计算的可行性和有效性。
