"空间再造"已成为高校图书馆转型发展的主要内容之一,研究和分析高校图书馆空间再造包括:传统功能区更新,释放馆舍可用物理空间;划分不同学习区域有针对性改造;引入高新技术,增加读者体验;增强图书馆空间的娱乐、休闲、交流功能,提高到馆读者的舒适度;扩展空间思维延伸空间概念,创建外部空间及设置特殊空间.同时指出高校图书馆在空间再造时应遵循以用户需求为核心原则、秉持绿色环保原则、动静分区原则、复合、灵活、便利原则.%"Space reconstruction"has become one of the main contents of the transformation and development of university libraries.
