The designing greener chemicals award in Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge （PGCC） awards of USA in 2011 is introduced in the paper, and the research advance and trend analysis on the green coatings at present is described. Moreover, the development trend of green coatings is prospected.%简述了2011年美国总统绿色化学挑战奖的更绿色化学品奖项，阐述了当前4种绿色涂料的研究现状及发展趋势，并展望了绿色涂料的发展前景。
