Based on the engineering examples, the paper analyzes the hidden dangers of injures and deaths of railway accidents at the laterite coal preparation building, points out the methods for the independent installation of automatic warning equipment at crossings, so as to improve the safety of the vehicle and pedestrians across the crossings.%以工程实例为依托，对红土站选煤楼道口存在的路外伤亡事故隐患进行了分析，提出了道口自主加装自动报警装置的方法，使得机动车、行人通过道口安全性有了提高。
