Introduces the definition of furniture,studies old people’s furniture shape,color,material and decoration and other elements,analy-zes old people’s furniture design principles,finally points out that:old people’s furniture market will expand with the aged society coming.%介绍了家具的定义，对老年人家具的形态、色彩、材料和装饰等各造型要素进行了综合研究，并分析了老年人家具造型设计需遵循的原则，指出随着国内老龄化社会的到来，老年人家具的市场将会逐渐扩大。
