The paper analyzes the development model for point-line-area commercial complex based on the factual design program in northwest of Liaoning province,illustrates the potential advantages of the point-line-area commercial complex,indicates the model adheres to the most classi-cal model for the development of the three-tier or inferior urban commercial complexes from the manager,users,and operators.%以辽西北地区实际设计项目为依据，通过对“点、线、面”商业发展模式进行分析，阐述了“点、线、面”结合的商业发展模式的潜在优势，重点从管理者、使用者、承建者三个方面作了论述，指出此模式是符合目前中国“三线”或以下城市商业综合体发展的经典模式之一。
