Freeways that are constructed on soft clay ground exhibit particular problems. The quality of a freeway is the key factor determining whether the road wil remain in a normal condition or not. From the development view, ground penetrating radar (GPR) is the best technique for inspecting the quality of the freeway. At the same time, GPR is time-saving, economical and efifcient.
