During recent years, application of optical radiation with lower energy, a kind of noninjurious therapeutical method has been paid a great attention. Optical needle, as a kind of new acupuncture instrument has been explored and utilized throughout Japanese medicine. The stimulus and therapeutical effect at acupoints was determinated during the application of optical needle which had the same effect of routine acupuncture moxibustion. After irradiation on acupoints with optical needle, extremly faint micro photones from body were detected and such results were imput into computer for data disposal. Therefore, it is possible to evaluate the stimulus effect and observe the therapeutical effect objectively. In addition, the results determinated could be exhibited with vision expression on the screen of computer.
