A dementia patient care burden degree determination device (100) is provided with: an acquisition unit (110) for acquiring an answer to each of a plurality of questions relating to a subject behavior pattern, where each question belongs to any of n domains; a score calculation unit (111) for calculating a quantified score relating to the subject behavior pattern for each domain on the basis of the answers acquired by the acquisition unit (110); a distance calculation unit (112) for calculating a Euclidean distance between coordinates indicated by the score calculated by the score calculation unit (111) for each domain and fixed-point coordinates in an n-dimensional space having coordinate axes comprising number lines indicating the score for each domain; a determination unit (113) for determining a dementia patient care burden degree when caring for a subject, on the basis of the Euclidean distance calculated by the distance calculation unit (112); and an output unit (114) for outputting the dementia patient care burden degree determined by the determination unit (113).
