The aim was to study on the titania nanocrystals. Titania nanocrystals were prepared by a "low temperature hydrothermal process" in liquid media. The crystallization of amorphous precursor could proceed at low temperature around room temperature, which was much lower than those of conventional hydrothermal process and Sol - Gel reactions. The rutile formed at low temperature below 50℃, The phase composition, microstructure, and morphology were also studied, The phase composition of titania changed significantly depending on the temperatures. Experiments showed that the needle -like nanosize rutile crystals possessed high photocatalytic activities under visible light irradiation of wavelength 〉 400nm.%对TiO2纳米晶进行了研究。采用”低温水热法”在室温附近的低温下处理无定型的TiO2前驱体制备出了纳米TiO2,制备温度比传统的水热法和溶胶一凝胶法要低很多,在低于50℃的温度下即可得到金红石型TiO2。研究了TiO2的相组成与温度的关系以及TiO2的形貌。实验表明,在波长大于400nm的可见光照射下,棒状的金红石型TiO2具有良好的可见光光催化性能。
