Located to the southwest 25 kilometers away to the City of Taiyuan and at the foot of Xuan-wengs han, Jinci is one of the ten best tourist spots of Shanxi Province. It is the larges t group of ances tral temple buildings with as tyle of ancient garden des ign and it has been honored as "the First Best Scenic Spot of Shanxi Province", "The Little Southern Area of Yangze River in Shanxi Province". Now Jinci is applying for the enrollment of the List of the Heritage of the World by UN-ESCO.
