The microstructure features of seed from ramie were studied using optical microscope and scanning electron microscope. The results showed that the shapes of wild seeds were flat triangle, near flat spindly, flat o-viform which had biggish difference, but cultivation seeds were near spindly, flat oviform, and the difference was not distinct, seeds ornamentations were mainly retiform-wrinkles and linear-wrinkles. The seed shape, size, kernel weight, omamenta- tion type and so on provided important informations for protection, conservation, utilization, determination, circulation, seed selection, hybridization and seed information of ramie germplasm.%应用光镜和扫描电镜对苎麻属植物种子的微形态结构进行了研究,结果表明:苎麻属植物种子外形多样,野生苎麻种子的粒型差异较大,有扁三角形、近扁纺锤体形和扁卵形3种;而栽培种只有近纺锤体形和扁卵形两种且差异不明显;种子表面纹饰以网状纹和线状纹为主;种子形态、大小、千粒重、表面纹饰类型等特征为我国苎麻种质资源的保护、贮藏、利用、鉴别、流通、选种、配种、种子信息查询等提供了重要的信息.
