This paper introduces the occurrence of reading promotion activities, expounds the carrying out of the reading promotion activities both at home and abroad and some problems existing in the reading promotion activities, and probes into the reading promotion practice of the library of Hainan Party School.%阐述了国内外阅读推广活动的开展情况，分析了国内阅读推广活动存在的问题，详细介绍了中共海南省委党校图书馆研究型阅读推广的实践。
