江西经济发展相对滞后，资本市场也欠发达。截至目前，江西省内沪深A股上市公司仅有33家，放眼全国，江西资本市场的规模仍然偏小，上市公司数量少，资本市场结构很不合理，制约资本市场发展的因素不少。从产业分布看，大都集中在传统产业，主要为机械、金属制品、交通运输、化工、电力、建材等；从区域分布看，一些具有比较优势的产业和地区缺少或没有上市公司。因此，无论是从现有上市公司数量，还是拟上报及储备的上市企业数量来看，江西省仍有相当的潜力可挖。%Jiangxi economic development is lagging, and the capital market is relatively underdeveloped.
