Controlling Intergranular Fracture by Grain Boundary Segregation (Ⅱ)——Prediction of Grain Boundary Segregation and Intergranular Fracture

摘要

The equation of the effect of gram boundary segregation on mtergranular fracture energy is derived with quasichemical method,and the mtergranular fracture parameter P is defined.When P0 or P0,the segregated species are embrittling or toughening.The bigger the |P|,the stronger the tendency of embrittling or toughening.Four items of modification on Seah’ s theory are presented and mis-classification solved.
