“Luxiaochen should have his fiefdom” is in the 5596th slice of Oracle Collection, the main idea of which is the king of Shang Dynasty divines: should the salt officer have his fiefdom? Before this, many articles mentioned this oracle inscription but only stated that there already has salt officer managing salt industry without deep research on the position of the salt officer. By the research of oracle and archaeological materials, analysis of the related information in the oracle inscription, the article discusses the salt officer from three aspects: “brine”, “officer”, “city” in Shang Dynasty, thinking that the appointment of salt officer should have a process and trying to reveal the salt officer’s position in Shang Dynasty.%“卤小臣其有邑”出自《甲骨文合集》第5596片，其主旨是商王问卜：卤小臣可不可以有一座封邑？在此之前，很多文章对这片卜辞有所提及，但是只是说明商代此时已经有管理盐业的盐官而并未对盐官地位作深入研究。本文通过挖掘甲骨文和考古资料，分析本片卜辞中的有关信息，从商代之“卤”、商代之“小臣”、商代之“邑”三个方面对商代盐官——“卤小臣”进行讨论，认为盐官的设置也有一个发展过程，力求揭示出商代盐官地位。
