Effect of peeling Sabina przew alskii seeds by hand with the aid of wood roller and machine with concrete mixer was studied .The compared results showed that the breakage rates of seeds were 10 .4% and 12 .5% for hand and machine ,with machine breakage rate more 2 .1% than that of hand .The intervals from seeds coming up the ground to germinating was 45 d for the seeds peeled by hand peeling ,while it was only 20 d for the seeds peeled by machine ,the time was shorted with 25 d .The germination rates were 82 .5% and 95 .6% for hand and machine ,re-spectively ,with 13 .1% by machine more than that by hand .Peeling cost of machine was lower than that of hand .%通过对祁连圆柏种子混凝土搅拌机机械去皮和传统人工木磙推碾去皮等2种去皮效果的比较分析，结果表明：人工去皮和机械去皮，种子的破损率分别为10．4％和12．5％，机械去皮的破损率高于人工去皮2．1个百分点；人工去皮后种子从开始发芽出土到种子发芽结束需要45 d ，而机械去皮则只需要20 d ，缩短了25 d ；人工去皮和机械去皮的发芽率分别为82．5％和95．6％，机械去皮的发芽率高于人工去皮13．1个百分点；人工去皮的成本是机械去皮的8倍。
