Optimization of Gaussian beam shaping in fractional Fourier transform domain

         

摘要

<正> The exact mathematical description for beam shaping in the fractional Fourier transform domain has been presented and its rigorous solution is discussed It is concluded that the rigorous solution does not exist, and only the approximate optimal solution may be found by means of optimization technique An effective optimization method is also proposed to search for the optimal solution. Numerical simulation examples show that the present algorithm is effective and may provide a useful tool for beam shaping in practice.
